ESP Inclement Weather Policy
City Schools Extended School Program (ESP) desires to serve working
parents who depend on ESP for their childcare needs during inclement
weather – snow days. However, we are aware that there are times when
safety may cause ESP to adjust its hours or to close completely.
If school opens late, ESP will open at 7 a.m. at your home school. If school is dismissed early because of weather, ESP will operate from dismissal until 5 p.m.
If school is closed for the entire day due to the weather, ESP will operate at four locations with condensed hours, from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Those sites and schools served will be:
Black Fox (serving families from Bradley, Hobgood, Discovery and Black Fox)
Erma Siegel (serving families from John Pittard, Reeves Rogers and Erma Siegel)
Northfield (serving families from Mitchell-Neilson Elementary, Mitchell-Neilson Primary and Northfield)
Scales (serving families from Cason Lane, Overall Creek and Scales)
Registration information and notification is required before attendance.
